Discover Northern Michigan

Explore, Play, and Immerse Yourself in the Healing Elements of Nature

Northern Michigan holds a lifetime of memories for me. It’s where my family has gathered for as long as I can remember.  My childhood is woven with countless joyful moments—racing down the sand dunes, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, star-gazing, fourth of July fireworks and sledding and ice skating in snowy winters. Every time I return, it feels like coming home. When I meditate and visualize my safe place, it’s always the dock at our family cabin on Glen Lake—surrounded by the beauty and serenity of nature. Northern Michigan embodies the essence of slow living, tranquility, and a deep sense of returning to stillness and inner peace.

Even if northern Michigan is new to you, it invites you to experience something truly special, making it an ideal setting for a meditation retreat. Its breathtaking beauty—from the rolling dunes to the calm, clear water—naturally invites stillness and reflection.

Whether you’re hiking the nearby trails, exploring the scenic drives, or simply sitting by the shore, the lake has a way of slowing down time and making space for deep connection. It’s a place where you can truly unwind, reconnect with yourself, and find clarity. The peace and natural beauty here will help you tap into the serenity and inner stillness that are essential for meditation and becoming a Meditation Guide.

Meet Your Guides

Eileen Rose Miles

Lead Facilitator & Meditation Guide

Insight Timer Meditation Guide and Meditation Teacher Training Facilitator

Hi my friend,

When I was searching for a meditation teacher training over 5 years ago, I couldn’t find one that was truly personable and accessible—one that took the time to help me build confidence in my voice and guidance. If you feel called to lead meditations but don’t know where to start, or if you struggle with what to say, I understand. I spent years figuring it out on my own, and that journey inspired me to create something transformational.

My training is designed to help you find your voice, gain confidence, and guide others with authenticity and ease. For the past two years, I’ve been leading virtual Meditation Teacher Trainings, and the experience has been amazing. But now, it’s time to bring that energy to an in-person experience.

I’m beyond excited to step out from our tiny zoom boxes and into real life with you. Sharing your voice in person, connecting in community, and healing together will be an incredibly powerful experience. We’ll dive deep into our own inner work, explore what it means to lead from the heart, and practice guiding meditations in a safe and supportive space. You’ll also learn the practical tools and techniques needed to step into your role as a Meditation Guide with confidence. And of course, we’ll take time to play and explore in one of my favorite places—Glen Arbor, Michigan.

There is room for you.

If you weren’t ready, you wouldn’t have the opportunity.

Say yes.

You can only take others as far as you are willing to go yourself

Guiding and teaching meditation and mindfulness to others requires us to go on the inward journey to a deeper understanding of ourselves.
